The primary purpose of this outreach is to extend the Word and ministry of God beyond our congregation to the utmost parts of the world through personal and corporate giving, prayer and support to various ministries and missionary organizations thus carrying out the Mission Statement of Barbee – “To Know Christ and to Make Him Known.”
To accomplish this purpose we support the following mission programs:

1. International Community Outreach is a mission program in India with Prem and Anita Waghmare. When the Waghmares are in the states they have an international ministry with various campus organizations.
2. We have adopted three children through World Vision. Two are from India and one from Africa.
3. Julie and Brad Wagner are with the Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of Massachusetts campus.
4. Jerry Wright is founder of the Native Adult & Youth Ministries in Arizona.
5. Morning Star Ranch for men in Kansas is a ministry of World Impact.
6. Wycliffe Associates supports Bible Translators throughout the world.
7. International Sports Evangelists founded by Rob Kinnard in Richmond, Missouri evangelize throughout the United States, Mexico, Russia and Lebanon, and wherever God leads them.
8. The Angel Tree Prison Ministry is supported each year at Christmas.
9. The Presbyterian Children’s Home is in Farmington, Missouri.
10. The Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Program helps people through all kinds of disasters throughout the United States and the World.
11. We support local missions such as The Good Samaritan Center, The Crisis Pregnancy Center, the Salvation Army Back to School Program and others as needed.
12. Each year Barbee offers a Scholarship to one of its youth going into Christian Ministry.
13. We also support two special offerings of the Presbyterian Church (USA) - One Great Hour of Sharing and the Joy Offering.
