Welcome to the Noah's Ark Preschool Link. We are a ministry of Barbee Memorial Presbyterian Church, and we're located in the lower level of the Church across from the Excelsior Springs High School. The Preschool was started more than 15 years ago and is still committed to offering high quality Christian education to our community. We have an excellent, experienced, highly motivated and loving staff: Director/Language Arts Teacher: Ms. Lynn Arts & Crafts Teacher: Ms. Chris Pre-math and Science Teacher: Ms. Shawna Language Arts Teacher: Ms. Shelley Noah's Ark's goal is to deliver the finest in early Christian education and to prepare students for a strong, positive entry into Kindergarten. We believe children learn best in the caring, nurturing, and fun environment we offer. School is in session from the week of Labor Day through early May. The Preschool offers two class options: Early Preschool (for 3 & 4 year olds) Classes held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:30 AM Cost — $70.00 per month (with alternate payment options available) Pre-Kindergarten (for 4 year olds and 5 year olds not entering Kindergarten) Classes held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 to 11:30 AM Cost — $80.00 per month (with alternate payment options available) In a capsule, we offer phonics, letter recognition and writing, language skills, an introduction to signing and beginning Spanish. We also have crafts, color and shape study, fine and gross motor skill work, number study, sequencing, numeral writing and recognition, hands on science experiences, as well as Bible stories and songs, all delivered in fun, interactive and engaging ways.
